Presentation: Voice Therapy Techniques: A Brief Overview

Jess MacKimm, MS, CCC-SLP

Jess MacKimm, MS, CCC-SLP, is a speech language pathologist who specializes in voice and upper airway disorders in UW's Department of Otolaryngology. In this role, Jess provides care to individuals experiencing voice difficulties, including challenges with voice quality, vocal endurance, and vocal sustainability. In addition to clinical responsibilities, Jess mentors students, residents, and clinical staff. 

Jess strives to embody UW's mission to put patients first by collaborating with clients to develop individualized care plans that prioritize client goals. Behind the scenes, Jess works administratively to improve patient access to and quality of care, particularly for incarcerated patients.

Outside of work, Jess enjoys cooking, singing recreationally, and exploring the beautiful PNW.
