Alison Hirst, MS, CCC-SLP, LMT, is a speech-language pathologist at the University of Washington Medical Center/Department of Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. She has a wide variety of clinical interests in otolaryngology and is involved in and passionate about gender affirming voice therapy, evaluating/treating voice, airway, swallowing disorders in laryngology, and evaluating and treating swallow disorders resulting from head and neck cancers and their treatments. Alison has been specializing in voice, airway, and swallowing disorders since 2010. To obtain additional skills for care of her patient populations, Alison completed a full course in massage therapy in 2012 and obtained intraoral endorsement in 2017.
