Workshop: The Vocal Comeback: Healing the Performer's Voice
This interactive workshop will provide insight into specialized speech pathology techniques designed to support vocal recovery while maintaining artistry and performance integrity. Through real-time collaboration between an SLP and a performer, participants will observe a live demonstration, showcasing strategies that bridge clinical rehabilitation and functional voice training.
Juli Rosenzweig, MS, CCC-SLP
Juli Rosenzweig, MS, CCC-SLP, SAG-AFTRA, is a Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in Laryngology at the University of Washington Medical Center where she has worked since 2000.
She is proud to be part of the performing voice clinic at UWMC. Prior to her work as a speech pathologist, she, herself, was a radio, stage, and film actor. She trained with Arthur Lessac and then worked as a dialect coach and theatre voice teacher in both local and regional theatres and in a conservatory program in Washington. Juli is an active program committee member for the Northwest Voice Conference in Seattle. She is passionate about working with performing voice and professional voice users with voice disorders. She especially enjoys coordinating care with local singing voice specialists and acting teachers.
