We know that gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) is one of, if not the biggest, source of irritation and inflammation in the throat and therefore has a huge impact on vocal health and performance. However, how is this impact best evaluated and treated? This talk defines GERD, current concepts in its evaluation and management, and how this intersects with performing vocal health.
